Shared Trip – Terms & Conditions (Valid for 2026)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Shared Trip programs, including 1 Day Trip, 2 Days 1 Night, and 3 Days 2 Nights packages, unless otherwise specified.

By confirming a booking or participating in any Shared Trip program, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions stated herein.

  • Rates apply to the calendar year in which they are issued and may be revised annually.
  • Prices may be adjusted due to fuel surcharges, route changes, government regulations, harbor fees, or other operational factors beyond our control.
  • Entrance fees for Komodo National Park must be paid in cash in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) only. Credit cards and foreign currencies are not accepted.
  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a reservation.
  • We recommend using Wise or Revolut for international transfers to minimize intermediary banking fees.
  • All bank charges, correspondent bank fees, transfer fees, and currency conversion fees must be borne entirely by the sender. The net amount received must match the invoice total.
  • The remaining balance must be fully settled prior to departure during the initial meeting in Labuan Bajo.
  • Payments are accepted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) cash or by debit/credit card (MASTERCARD, VISA, and JCB).
  • A 3% bank processing fee applies to all credit card transactions. This fee is determined and charged by the bank/payment provider and is non-negotiable.
  • Children aged 3 years and above are charged at full adult rate.
  • All participants must provide valid photo identification (Passport or National ID) for harbor registration.
  • Participants must comply with all instructions given by the tour leader and boat crew at all times.
  • Scheduled transfers between hotel/airport and harbor are arranged accordingly.
  • Minor delays may occur due to traffic conditions or multi-stop pick-ups.
  • Participants must be ready at the confirmed pick-up time.

While every effort is made to operate the originally scheduled vessel, operational flexibility may be required due to minimum participant quotas, technical issues, safety considerations, or other operational requirements.

In such cases:

  • A replacement vessel will be arranged with equivalent cabin category, occupancy type, and price level.
  • Replacement vessels will maintain comparable service standards and safety compliance.
  • Differences in brand, design, layout, interior style, onboard ambiance, or public perception do not constitute a material change.
  • Price differences between vessels do not entitle participants to refunds or compensation as long as cabin category and occupancy remain equivalent.
  • Vessel substitution does not constitute a breach of agreement.

By confirming a booking, participants acknowledge and accept the possibility of vessel substitution under these terms.

The number of participants onboard is determined by the available cabins and official vessel documentation.

  • Cancellation at any time after booking confirmation results in 100% forfeiture of payment.
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • Bookings cannot be rescheduled or transferred to another date.
  • Participants may nominate a replacement person subject to prior notice and approval.

Participants arriving late at the designated meeting point and causing disruption will be considered as voluntarily withdrawing without refund.

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Extreme weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Civil unrest
  • Disease outbreaks
  • Flight cancellations

In such cases:

  • The itinerary may be modified, delayed, or canceled.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed.
  • Komodo Dreamland Tour shall not be responsible for any losses, additional expenses, or inconvenience arising from such events.

Alternative arrangements or rescheduling may be offered at management discretion.

In rare cases where the tour must be canceled entirely due to operational reasons solely attributable to the organizer (excluding force majeure and vessel substitution), refunds may be considered at management discretion.

  • This is an adventure-style program.
  • Boats and accommodations on shared trips are comfortable but nature-oriented.
  • Travel insurance is not included.
  • Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip interruption, and personal belongings.

Participation is undertaken at the participant’s own discretion and risk.
